Pricing for the 2013 Volkswagen CC R-Line four-door will start at $33,020—about $2,000 more than the base-level CC Sport. The newly created R-Line trim package adds 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels; a modified front fascia that features more aggressive styling cues; stainless-steel scuff plates; and R-Line badges to the base-level CC. The new Ford Mustang is going to be available in the UK, and in right hand drive for the first time, and Ford has decided to make it a bit of an event. Sponsors of the UEFA Champions League since 1992, Ford has decided that the UEFA Champions League Final between Real Madrid and Atlético de Madrid in Lisbon, when Ford expects 70 million UK and European fans to tune in, is the ideal time to put the new Mustang up for sale. Ford is offering 500 pre-order Mustangs during the final – 130 of which will be RHD for the UK – in a choice of Fastback or convertible and with either the 324bhp 2.3 litre EcoBoost or the 420bhp 5.0 litre V8.
The new Suzuki Vitara – debuts at the Paris Motor Show
When the Suzuki iV-4 Concept was revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show last year, in the spring, we knew it previewed a new model from Suzuki rather than a replacement for a model in its current range. But what we didn’t know is that Suzuki would revive a familiar badge for the production version of the iV-4 Concept, but they have with the arrival of the new 2015 Suzuki Vitara. The new Vitara isn’t too far off the iV-4 Concept in looks – just a bit more ‘production and a bit less ‘Concept’ – and will come with front-wheel-drive as standard, but you will be able to spec a new Vitara up with Suzuki’s ALLGRIP 4WD and a selection of engines offering ‘outstanding’ fuel economy.
